Oh, I am so very, very late with this study installment! Our in-home group met last week, but due to a number of circumstances, I am just now getting our video recap up. If you’re not yet following me on facebook, please do. When things get wonky and I can’t get stuff up here when and as I’d like, facebook is where I tell you what’s going on. There you’ll find quick updates and notices about daily life, encouragement and bloggy-writer-ish notices.
In this session we talked about 1 Kings 21-22. Those chapters conclude the book of 1 Kings, but we’ve not totally completed our study … yet. Yes, we’ve finished this book, but we need to add another dimension to our timeline, which is the reign of Jehoshaphat over Judah. We’ll do that in two weeks.
In the meantime, here is a quick (10-minute) video recap of our discussion.
If you would like to dive deeper into the life and times of Jezebel, Ahab’s wife, check out this article from the Biblical Archeological Society. It includes photographs of some very cool artifacts related to this infamous queen and her life and times.
If you’ve missed any previous sessions, go HERE to gather all the homework and links related to First Kings (and past studies).
Talk to me.
What did I miss? What observations and thoughts did you have from this passage?
