In the Dailies

For the past six months I have been complaining judging not thinking extremely nice things about Beth Moore. Beth, if you’re reading this, and all her fans (I know some of you are reading this), please accept my sincerest apologies!

I’ve never met Beth and know very little about her. I’ve never done one of her Bible studies. I do have a couple of her books, but haven’t actually read them all the way through. I’ve read her blog and she seems like a wonderful person! In spite of all this, I have been struggling, and it relates to her.

Last spring my church did Beth’s study on Esther. I couldn’t participate because the group met on a weekday morning and offered no child care.

Another group from our church is doing the same study this fall. I can’t participate in this one either because I was the thirteenth person to sign up. They’ve limited the group to twelve people.

I finally decided to just buy the book and do the study myself. (more…)
